The
rich history of the Potthouse site and context have
impacted upon the building’s form, structure
and construction techniques, its architecture embodies
a physical response to site context, site conditions,
materiality, functionality, client brief, building
program and economic viability.
The site on Hill Street was previously Potthouse Lane
off Waring Street, location of the most successful Potthouse
in the UK and Ireland during the late 17th century, exporting
delftware across Europe and beyond. more>> |
